Well it was like this … I had two major problems …
My car was starting to look like a shoe orphanage and I’d have them rolling around, catching under the pedals and generally causing havoc. You know the feeling – got a date, but just finished playing netball, or running late from work and shoes just had to be changed but no time to go home. Yes well that is where the orphanage for shoes began.
Then this great holiday came up. Being a light traveller, I only had room in my luggage for 2 pairs of shoes - hiking boots and a comfortable but decent pair of shoes. Oh for my ‘shoe orphanage’ on that trip! Two pairs just didn’t cut it when I was suddenly invited to this very flash event and truthfully I was bored with wearing the same pair of shoes every day and they were looking really tatty half way through the trip. Figured it was time for some retail therapy and then I stumbled across a little shoe & accessories shop.
As soon as I walked in, I spotted this amazing invention. Fancy being able to have the one pair of shoes, then, by switching the tops, have a new pair of shoes and your new pair costs next nothing. This meant I had more room in my luggage for an extra couple of tops and presents for back home.
Well the up-shot was that I just had to share these great shoes with my fellow Australians now I had finally found a better way to be a ‘Kwik-switch artist’ so I decided to import and share them.
Oh and my car loves me now too J!
I hope you enjoy your new shoes as much as I do. They are just about the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn plus I always have something to match every outfit and every occasion.
